With a focus on hawker-style dishes, it captures the essence of Southeast Asia's street food scene right here in Canada.
The menu at Hawkers Delight Deli boasts an impressive array of offerings that tantalize the taste buds. One of the standout dishes is the Sayur Lodeh Bee Hoon. This dish features thin rice noodles swimming in a spicy vegetable curry enriched with coconut milk and dried shrimp, garnished with egg, tofu, and shredded coconut. It's a perfect representation of comfort food done right.
For those who prefer a simpler yet flavorful option, the Roti Prata—an Indian-style flatbread served with a savory curry dipping sauce—is a crowd favorite. At only CA$4.95, it's an affordable indulgence that pairs brilliantly with any main dish.
Another must-try is the Chicken Curry Noodle, where wheat noodles are enveloped in a luscious chicken and potato curry. The richness of the coconut milk makes this dish a favorite among regulars, as highlighted by customer Nancy, who couldn't get enough of the Laksa noodle soup featuring a rich coconut broth and a medley of spices.
Vegetarian options are just as delightful. The Mee Rebus serves up spicy sweet potato sauce garnished with egg and crunchy bean sprouts, ensuring no one misses out on the vibrant flavors that Hawkers Delight Deli is known for. Additionally, the Vegetable Fritters make for a perfect snack, offering a crunchy texture and savory taste.

*Debit and Cash only* Very flavorful, and the portion was great! I haven't seen this price in Vancouver for a while too. I'll come back for sure
Best Laksa noodle in Vancouver. Nice thick soup not too spicy but still got a nice strong flavour of coconut and spices. Will go back again to try the curry dishes. We also order Mee Soto, it was nice and simple. I like the Chinese Celery in the soup. The place has few tables, not for large parties dining. There were lots of take out order. The last call is at 7pm so make sure to get there before. Price was very reasonable and big portions.
Chicken rice, roti prata, and Laksa were all delicious and excellent value. Food came out quickly and was hot.
The best Singaporean food! I've been eating here for 15 years. Best dishes are: - Hainanese chicken rice - Fried kway teow (not on the main menu board) - Lamb curry
A small restaurant that serves affordable and delicious Singaporean and Malaysian food. My friend and I opted for laksa, mee rebus, and gado gado as part of our meal. We were surprised that they had large servings. You must also try their chicken rice.
It really nice and authentic Hawker style like in Singapore. Good price if compare w other. Around less than 15 after tax/a dish as I rmb. I love the food here. I love Hainanese chicken here and the fried kuey teow full of wok hey. So good. Btw they only take cash and debit too!!!Love it. Their nasi lemak is good to try tho. Really nice noodles wok hey!!!
I started coming here about 28 years ago, and after being married for 20 years, finally got my husband to come here with me. We had the hainamese chicken rice, chicken curry with rice and roti with curry gravy. The food was really good and came quickly. The flavours were so good and the seating is still casual and self serve. Budget friendly. My husband said "yes, i will come back" . Score! Now i can come more often, not just with friends!
Tried the Hainanese Chicken Rice and it was a surprise to my liking! I think in Vancouver we sometimes find that a lot of chicken usually doesn’t have a “chicken” taste, but this definitely does! The sauce also enhances the flavour pretty well. Love the rice too! The oiliness and fragrant it gives was just right to taste. For the Roti Prata it was deliciously buttery when it was served fresh. Would recommend to eat it first before it gets cold. For Laksa, nothing much stood out to me on this one as I have nothing to compare it with. But overall it was delicious :) not heavy The only thing I have to complain are the self serve water cups have a moldy smell to it. I believe they just stack the cups together while it was still wet. And I just felt more safe to wipe down my utensils again with the napkin. Even so it didn’t really affect our dining. Would definitely want to come back to try the other dishes!
